NEW shop to find the right bottle for your Green Chartreuse cocktails.
The one and only Chartreuse Green Liqueur. There's been a lot of chatter about Green Chartreuse and the near impossibility of obtaining a bottle since the middle of 2022. In January 2023, circulated acknowledging that production will remain capped and the product will be highly allocated for the foreseeable future. Please note we didn't fact check the tweet previously linked, but this news is in line with what we've heard.

Tasting Notes
Powerfully herbaceous with peppery nose. A fresh palate with minty, pine sap and citrus notes. Bittersweet tea at the end leads to a prolonged, lingering taste.

Made from over 130 herbs and botanicals, and you notice every single one of them. Green Chartreause makes a memorable drink of every cocktail it touches.
Production Notes
Intended to be medicine, and dating back to the 1700s, the recipe for Chartreuse is a closely kept secret. Currently, the liqueur is produced in the Aiguenoire Distillery in France. Taste France has done a nice detailing the production. Only 2 monks oversee the production process, and the entire process from container sizes to the aging period(s) is also held confidentially.
Final note: after many chats with Curiada customers about Chartreuse, tasting the spirit in a few cocktails myself (Last Words are popular around here), and doing a bit of research about the producers I can't help thinking that the Carthusian Monks have a knack for distilling and marketing.
